Since it’s now officially February I feel like its a good time to start thinking about summer shoes! Yes yes yes I know we might be still in the middle of winter and yes I do feel like I’m wishing away 3 months of my life but I just want to get back to that glorious t-shirt weather and let’s be honest it’s never too early to start making a summer shoe wish list. I love Greece and I love Greek Style Leather Sandals and it seems quite fitting since my blog is called to do this little post.
Greece is one destination that I’m rather desperate to return to this year; I’ve visited Athens a few times but have never visited the Islands so am thinking a few nights in Athens and then onto Santorini to watch the best sunsets in Europe (or so I’ve heard!).
Some of the many reasons why I want to return to Greece – the blue skies!
The sights and smells…
…and the brilliant street art that you find dotted around Athens.
Now onto the shoes…If you’re ever in Athens make sure you visit the Poet Sandal Maker to pick up a perfect custom fitted pair of Greek Sandals – I swear by them along with plenty of other folks around the world and they won’t cost you more than 35 euros. You will leave the shop feeling like Cinderella in your perfectly fitted sandals!
But if you can’t get to Greece then don’t worry as the Greek Style Leather Sandals are coming to you this summer with lots of budget and high end varieties on offer. Here are some of my favourites!
(L-R) Ancient Greek Sandals Astrapi Leather Sandals; Ancient Greek Sandals Echidna Cut Out Leather Sandals; Ancient Greek Sandals Filosia; Next Lace Up Sandals; Asos Fumble Gladiator Leather Sandals; New Look Floyd Leather Flat Gladiator Sandals
So now the big question is…what pair to buy!
