If there is one thing that I love more than anything about Christmas time in the Northern Hemisphere it’s the opportunity to visit the Christmas Markets in Germany. This was my fifth trip to Germany to visit the markets and also my longest visit as Christine and Jonelle were over from New Zealand to tour the markets with me for a whole week.
So this is how our week long tiki tour of the German Christmas Markets went…
Hey Wiesbaden…
Yo Rothenburg ob der Tauber…
Hi De Hi Nuremburg…
Hiya Bamberg…
Hallo Coburg…
Moin Moin Dresden…
And hi from our lucky last German Christmas Market in Frankfurt…
To get around to visit the Christmas Markets we hired a car which turned into a SUV as the Mercedes couldn’t fit in all our bags (us Kiwi gals like to travel light) and when in Germany you can nail it on the autobahn! So of course Christine did!
I purchased some novelty socks while in Germany!
Lisa and I have got a few Christmas posts planned over the next few weeks and I will take you on a more in-depth tour of the Christmas Markets in Germany as there are a few stand out ones worth visiting and others which are a little bit pants!
If you are looking for some German Christmas Markets Tips I’ve got you 10 great ones right here.
