Review: Holiday Inn Express Crawley, Gatwick Airport

As I have said before, early morning flights are horrible and when they are departing from the London airport which is furtherest from your home; a night in an airport hotel is a necessity – no one likes a cranky Kelly.  So here is my review of the Holiday Inn Express Crawley, Gatwick Airport.

The hotel isn’t located that close to Gatwick Airport however what it does offer unlike a lot of the airport hotels is free car parking which is a blessing in disguise as you will come to realise that overnight parking can add at least £10 per stay!

Through my IHG club membership we received a free upgrade to a much larger room which is a great perk.

As the hotel is a Holiday Inn Express it provides the bare essentials and you do find this from the moment you walk in the door however if you are only resting your head for a few hours then it’s perfectly fine.  Unfortunately the bed wasn’t that comfortable; I like a hard bed however it was even too hard for me – just call me Goldilocks!

I did love the black bathroom – it was very sleek.

We left to early to check out the free breakfast which is offered at all Holiday Inn Express hotels so I can’t advise if there are any gluten free options unfortunately.

The Holiday Inn Express Crawley is under a ten minute drive from the APH Parking Facility for Gatwick Airport.

xx
