It’s December folks, can you believe it?!? and it means this is our final travel link up for 2014 and it’s all about Christmas. So come and join Emma, Rebecca, our guest host Sammy and I this month as we share our Christmas stories – we accept blog posts for christmas presents and we love lots of presents so get linking! I thought I would put the hemispheres head to head with my latest post; the Northern Hemisphere vs Southern Hemisphere Christmas.
Things I love about a Northern Hemisphere Christmas
The pretty fairy lights that sparkle way…
The department store window displays…
The German Christmas markets…
The cute Christmas pastries that are on offer at Afternoon Tea in London at Christmas time…
Things I love about a Southern Hemisphere Christmas
The shady looking Santa’s that start popping up on buildings in New Zealand…
That you can go to the beach in December and look at the pretty Pohutukawa Trees flowering along the coastline (The NZ Christmas tree with my hot kiwi mama)…
Eating half the barnyard on Christmas Day (I’m sure sheep are going to take over the world one day so make sure you eat as much New Zealand Lamb as possible this Christmas please)…
Having a crafty mummy that decorates 2 beautiful Christmas Trees each year (that’s a minimum!) and getting to decorate Gingerbread houses with her…
So which camp are you in – the Northern Hemisphere Christmas or the Southern Hemisphere Christmas? I’m definitely in the Southern Hemisphere Christmas Camp – Christmas should be nice and warm!
