I’ve got a little confession to make, I’m addicted to World Duty Free. For the past few years we’ve head straight to the Lounge prior to our flight (and my credit card was rather happy about this) but lately I’ve done a little bit of “browsing” and then purchasing in Duty Free. So I thought I would share with you all what jumped into my shopping basket at World Duty Free at T5 last Friday.
I needed to restock a few of my REN Skin Products; a brand that I swear by and have used religiously for the past few years.
Rose O 12 Moisture Defence Serum
This is my favourite REN product and if your skin gets a tad dehydrated from flying or air conditioning in general then this is a skin saver plus it’s the perfect size as it’s under the liquid allowance so you can pop it into your hand luggage.
World Duty Free Price: £35.00; John Lewis Price: £42.00
Everclam Global Protection Day Cream
This is my morning moisturiser (I use the Rose O 12 Defence Serum at night time) and is the perfect base before slapping on the old war paint.
World Duty Free Price: £22.50; John Lewis Price: £28.00
Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial
This is a newbie that I purchased on Friday and I’m willing to give most things a go at least! A 1 minute facial sounds too good to be true; I used this for the first time this morning and immediately noticed a smoother texture to my skin and it looks a lot brighter. I’ve got a funny feeling I will be purchasing this again in the near future, especially during the summer months when my pores are blocked thanks to layer upon layer of sunblock.
World Duty Free Price: £27.40; John Lewis Price: £32.00
Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush
This was my birthday present from my folks and I’m hoping that it will buff off about five years of wrinkles to take my skin back to 30! Everyone seems to rave about this cleansing brush so am interested to see how my skin looks in a few weeks time.
World Duty Free Price: £65.80; John Lewis Price: £79.00
One of the reasons why I’m loving World Duty Free is their customer service; they’ve gone above and beyond to get me reunited with these Miu Miu sunglasses last year all thanks to a few messages via twitter. And I’m rather loyal to brands that have awesome customer service!
What’s even better is that they offer a free, yes a FREE Personal Shopper service if required to help you find everything in store.
So what was your last World Duty Free purchase? What’s your guilty pleasure when shopping in duty free shops?
xx
